Hi. I have a desktop computer with windows 7 on it. What does task switching mean? I now am able to put my computer in sleep mode. Can a totally blind person do this without then not being able to start up the computer again? Jusdt wondering.

The task switcher you might be hearing is just the windows seven taskbar. Just alt-tab around like usual
Also, you can put your computer to sleep (sometimes if your power is set to do it, it'll just go to sleep after a while if you are not using it). Just hit a key/move the mouse or something and It will come back.
sleep mide is a bit like a less agressive version of hybernation.
